MR500 pedestrian barrier – product sheet
Hot-dip galvanised steel barrier for separating and guiding pedestrians and cyclists: dimensions, key data and compliance with CEN/TR 16949.
Barriers from heavy crash barriers and concrete barriers to light fences that guide pedestrians. We help you choose a barrier based on the site’s speed limit, risk level and purpose.

A crash barrier keeps vehicles on the road: it prevents them from running off the road or crossing into oncoming traffic, and protects people on the work site from traffic.
We bring the barriers to the site, install them and remove them when the work is done.
There are three main questions when choosing a barrier: what the speed limit is, how close people work to traffic, and whether the barrier must stop a vehicle or guide pedestrians. Next to the carriageway, to protect a trench or workers, you need a crash barrier or a heavy concrete barrier. On pavements and at events, pedestrian fences are usually enough. The traffic management plan determines the exact solution. If you do not have a plan, we will prepare one.
More about crash barriers
Pedestrian barriers guide pedestrians past the work site. Barrier fences separate areas, and construction fences enclose the construction site so unauthorised persons cannot enter.
The fences are made of plastic or steel and come in different sizes.
More about fences
Hot-dip galvanised steel barrier for separating and guiding pedestrians and cyclists: dimensions, key data and compliance with CEN/TR 16949.
A crash barrier stops a vehicle and redirects it back into its lane, so it protects people on the work site and prevents vehicles from leaving the road. A pedestrian fence is not designed to stop vehicles. It guides pedestrians and separates areas.
Yes. We deliver the barriers, install them and remove them when the work is finished. For crash barriers, we also install the end terminals and markings. We deliver fences, put them up and take them away afterwards. In your enquiry, give the work site location and the work dates.
If the barrier is installed on a public road or pavement, it must be shown on the approved temporary traffic management plan. The plan sets the barrier type, length and location. If you do not have a plan, we will prepare it and get it approved.
For crash barriers, we charge by the linear metre along the length of the work site. The price also depends on the rental period, site location, installation and removal, and end terminals. For fences, the number and type of fences count. You will find the exact amount in the quote.
Send us the location, work dates and what you need. We help you choose the right barrier.
